As an integral part of the building’s façade, the client design team were disappointed to be told that it could not be done. Unperturbed, Carillion contacted Robbin and working closely with Robbindesign and their key suppliers the mechanics of a design were established. Test samples and proto type scaled models enabled visual client approval as well as practical input from the Carillion and Robbin site teams prior to full manufacture.
8 weeks later the finished items were installed to the delight of all.
